Kolet eSIM Data Plans for Malaysia

Kolet does not offer a truly unlimited data eSIM plan for Malaysia. The plans that carry the word “UNLIMITED” provide a hard limit of 5GB per day; once that daily limit is reached the speed drops to 1024 kbps.

Travelers who need more data can choose from Kolet’s fixed data plans. For example, a 20GB bundle is available for 30 days at $31.49 USD, and a 10GB bundle is offered for 30 days at $19.99 USD. These fixed plans give a larger data allowance without the daily cap and speed reduction that applies to the “UNLIMITED” naming.

Kolet does not offer a Malaysia eSIM plan that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can only purchase data‑only plans from this provider. However, VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage can generally be used over the data connection for voice calls and messaging, though some destinations may block or restrict those apps, so it is advisable to confirm their accessibility in Malaysia before buying a plan.

Kolet offers 13 single‑country plans and 10 multi‑country plans for Malaysia. The plans cover a price range from $3.99 to $121.80 and data amounts from 1 GB to 20 GB, with validity periods that can last from a single day up to 365 days. Among the plans, some are fixed‑data packages that provide a set amount of data for the entire validity period, while others use a daily data cap approach where the allowance is divided by the number of days of the plan.
