MTX Connect offers mobile internet for more than 90 countries with a single eSIM. The unique services such as MTX Subscription and Free Chat Option differentiate us from other eSIM providers.
MTX Connect does not provide an unlimited data eSIM for Malaysia. The provider’s available plans for the country are fixed data bundles: a 10 GB plan valid for 30 days, a 4 GB plan valid for 14 days, and a 2 GB plan valid for 7 days. Each plan offers coverage in Malaysia and 135 additional countries.
Choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost‑effective for most travelers, unless the user is an extremely heavy data consumer who would benefit from an unlimited option.
MTX Connect does not provide an eSIM plan for Malaysia that includes a phone number or SMS. The provider only offers data‑only eSIMs for the destination. Travelers who need voice or text can use VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations may block or restrict certain VoIP services, so it is advisable to verify whether those apps are accessible in Malaysia before purchasing.
MTX Connect currently offers three multi‑country data plans that work in Malaysia. The prices for these plans range from approximately $10.43 to $34.78, while the data caps span from 2 GB to 10 GB. Validity periods vary from 7 up to 30 days, allowing customers to choose a duration that fits their travel schedule.
