nextSIM eSIM Data Plans for Thailand

No. nextSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Thailand. The plans that carry “Unlimited” in their name actually have a fixed data cap—either 1 GB or 2 GB per day—and after that amount the speed is reduced to 512 kbps or 2000 kbps.

Travelers who need a larger, unthrottled data allowance can choose one of nextSIM’s fixed data plans, such as the 100 GB 30‑day Premium plan or the 50 GB 30‑day Pro plan. These plans give high‑speed data until the data is exhausted, and they can be more cost‑effective for heavy data users.

nextSIM does not provide Thailand eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. All of its Thailand offerings are data‑only plans; travelers can use the internet connection but will not receive inbound or outbound calls or SMS through the eSIM. However, users may still employ VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage over the data connection for calls and messaging. These services are generally available in Thailand, but some destinations may block or restrict access to particular apps. Travelers should confirm that their preferred VoIP apps will work on the network before purchasing a plan.

nextSIM lists 60 single‑country plans and 78 multi‑country plans for Thailand. These plans span prices from $2.58 up to $1, 259.24, with data caps ranging from 1 GB to 100 GB and validity periods between 1 and 365 days. The single‑country offerings are typically fixed data packages, while the multi‑country options may include daily data caps for travelers moving across borders.
