I am using MTX esim everywhere when travel, since it has the same prices in any country. At least, I can be online as soon as I land in a new airport, until I find local offer. And the fact that this is not one-time esim is important, even if you don't need it for a year, it is still working and have a balance.

I wanted to use it in Hong Kong and used it on my iPhone 11 Pro. It connected to 3 Macau. 3 Macau itself had good coverage and signal, but the MTX environment was very poor, with a ping of over 1 second. It was almost impossible to connect. (However, the amount of traffic on the app was being consumed...)
As mentioned in the Q&A, I was out of range in the US (Hawaii Island) on an iPhone 11 Pro.
