FootySIMs eSIM Data Plans for Vietnam

FootySIMs does not provide a true unlimited high‑speed data plan for Vietnam. Their plans use a fixed data allowance, even when the plan name includes “Unlimited.” For example, the “Vietnam — Unlimited · 30 Days” plan offers 1 GB/day of high‑speed data for 30 days; after that limit is reached the speed drops to 512 kbps. Other available fixed plans include a 7‑day 1 GB/day option and a 7‑day 1 GB flat‑rate plan. These fixed data plans are the alternatives FootySIMs offers to travelers seeking high‑speed data in Vietnam.

FootySIMs does not provide Vietnam eSIMs that include a phone number or SMS capability. The vendor only offers data‑only eSIM plans for Vietnam. Travelers who need voice or text services can typically use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but availability of these apps can vary by destination. It is advisable to confirm that the communication services you rely on are accessible in Vietnam before purchasing a plan.

FootySIMs offers three single‑country data plans for Vietnam, all of which provide a fixed 1 GB data cap. No multi‑country plans are available for this destination. Among the available plans, two are based on a daily data cap while one is a fixed data cap plan. Prices for these options range from roughly $2.73 to $64.28, with validity periods between 7 and 30 days. The plans also allow tethering, although the speed may be reduced to 512.
