Hungry eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Vietnam

Hungry eSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Vietnam. All of its plans for Vietnam have a fixed data allowance that must be used within a set validity period, and after the daily cap is reached the speed is throttled to a lower rate. For example, the Vietnam Unlimited eSIM 5GB/Day plan offers 5GB of high‑speed data per day and reduces speed to 384 Kbps once the daily limit is reached, while the Vietnam eSIM Data 30 Day / 20GB plan gives a 20GB allowance that must be used within 30 days. These fixed data plans can be more cost‑effective for most travelers, but they are not unlimited.

Hungry eSIM does not provide an eSIM for Vietnam that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. The only plans available for Vietnam are data‑only, so travelers will rely on internet connectivity for voice and messaging.

Travelers can still use VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection for calls and messaging. However, some destinations might block or restrict certain apps or VoIP services, so it is advisable to verify that the applications you need are accessible in Vietnam before purchasing a Hungry eSIM plan.

Hungry eSIM offers 12 single‑country plans and 42 multi‑country plans that include Vietnam. The plans cover data caps from 500 MB up to 50 GB, with prices ranging from roughly $2.08 to $179.36, and validity periods that can be as short as one day or as long as a year.
