Kolet eSIM Data Plans for Vietnam

Kolet does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Vietnam. The plans titled “Vietnam UNLIMITED” contain a fixed allowance of 5GB per day; once that amount is used, the speed drops to 1024 kbps. Travelers who need a larger high‑speed data allotment can choose one of the fixed data plans, such as the 20GB plan for 30 days or the 10GB plan for 30 days, which offer higher data caps at full speed for the entire validity period.

Kolet does not provide a Vietnam eSIM that includes a local phone number or the ability to send or receive SMS. All of Kolet’s Vietnam plans are data‑only, so travelers can use the connection for internet access but will need to rely on VoIP or messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage for voice and text communication. Those apps typically function over the data connection; however, some destinations may block or limit specific VoIP services, so it is wise to verify that the apps you need are accessible in Vietnam before proceeding with a purchase.

Kolet provides 13 single‑country data plans and 10 multi‑country data plans for travelers in Vietnam. The plans cover a price range from $3.99 to $121.50 and offer data caps between 1 GB and 20 GB. Some of the offerings are fixed‑data plans, giving a set amount of data for the entire validity period, while others are daily‑data‑cap plans, allowing a specified amount of data each day. This mix gives users flexibility depending on how they intend to use data during their stay.
