Nimbus does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Vietnam. The plans that carry “Unlimited” in their name all have a fixed high‑speed data limit – for example, the Vietnam (Unlimited/1 Day) plan allows 15GB of 5G data in a single day, and the Vietnam (Unlimited/3 Days) plan gives 15GB per day for three days. Once the specified amount of data is used, the data connection is stopped or the speed is reduced, so the user does not receive continuous, unrestricted high‑speed access.

If a traveler needs more data, Nimbus offers fixed‑data plans such as the Vietnam (50 GB/15 Days) plan that supplies 50GB for 15 days and the Asia (50 GB/90 Days) plan that supplies 50GB for 90 days. These plans provide larger data allowances and can be a more cost‑effective option for users who require a substantial amount of data while traveling in Vietnam.

Nimbus currently does not provide Vietnam eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. The provider only offers data‑only eSIM plans for travel in Vietnam. Travelers who need to make calls or send traditional text messages can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations may restrict access to certain apps or VoIP services, so it is advisable to confirm that the apps you rely on are available in Vietnam before purchasing an eSIM.
