Yatelo does not offer a truly unlimited data eSIM for Vietnam. All plans that carry “Unlimited” in the name actually provide a capped amount of high‑speed data (2GB or 3GB) and reduce speed to 1000 kbps once the limit is reached.

Travelers who need more data can choose from Yatelo’s fixed‑data plans, for example the ASI 20GB 30 days plan for $13.26, the ASI 10GB 30 days plan for $8.93, or the VNM 20GB 30 days plan for $18.95, all of which offer 5G connectivity across Vietnam and, in the case of the ASI bundles, 17 additional countries. These plans provide higher data allowances without a bandwidth reduction, making them more cost‑effective for heavy data users.

Yatelo does not offer Vietnam eSIM plans that include a local phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIMs are available from Yatelo for Vietnam. Travelers can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection for voice and messaging, but some destinations may block or restrict certain apps, so it is advisable to confirm that the apps you need will work in Vietnam before purchasing.
