Nomad does not provide a true unlimited high‑speed data plan for Vietnam.
The plans that carry the “unlimited” name are actually fixed‑data packages with a daily limit of 2 GB; after that quota is hit the speed drops to the throttled rate of 1000 kbps. Travelers who want a larger, uninterrupted data allowance can choose one of Nomad’s fixed data plans, such as the 50 GB plan valid for 30 days or the 30 GB plan valid for 60 days. These options give a larger data pool before any speed reduction occurs, which can be more cost‑effective for most users.

Nomad does not provide a phone number or SMS capability for eSIM plans in Vietnam; only data‑only plans are available from the provider. Travelers can use popular VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection for calls and messaging, but some destinations may block or restrict access to specific apps or VoIP services, so users should verify that the apps they rely on work in Vietnam before purchasing.

Nomad lists seven single‑country plans for Vietnam and 28 multi‑country plans that include Vietnam.
