“After comparing plans on esimdb.com, I chose Stellar’s 3GB/30 day data eSIM. Both the purchase and installation went ok. The data works on 5G straight away at high speeds, with no dropouts or issues. The free VPN is a nice bonus. ”
“I have been signed up to a recurring subscription I never agreed to: "Stellar Antivirus 1 weekly - eSim Upsell", €0.50 for the first week and then €0.99 every week thereafter, billed separately to my card. I unchecked every add-on box at their checkout. Every single one. I did not consent to being charged, and the only way it ended up on my order is because THEIR checkout is built to slip it past the customer after they have declined it. They are SCAMMERS. I sent them an email to ask them to stop, they said it's non refundable. I NEVER AGREED TO PURCHASE THIS SERVICE. I emailed them 9 October at their request to 'confirm' I wanted to cancel. THEY STILL CHARGED ME 15 OCTOBER. THEY ARE SCAMMERS.”
“I've used Truely unlimited data in UK, Serbia, Thailand, Turkey and KSA during my backpacking trip. The unlimited data was genuinely nice considering I had to work while traveling. I had issue with the KSA plan once but was fixed pretty fast. The rest of the destination was all good.”
“The SIM card works only with “Türk Telekom” and “Vodafone Turkey” networks. During the day, the internet speed was good, around 20 Mb/s, but every day after 6:00 p.m., the speed dropped to 1–2 Mb/s. This was very frustrating, and sometimes web pages wouldn’t even load. In my opinion, this isn’t the fault of the eSIM provider, but rather “Türk Telekom.” The solution to this problem is to manually select “Vodafone Turkey” towers on your phone. On Vodafone towers, the internet works reliably at all times.
You must install the eSIM before arriving in Turkey; otherwise, you won’t be able to do it. Turkey blocks eSIM installation. This applies to every carrier.”
“Unfortunately, the card only connects to “Türk Telekom” transmitters. During the day, the internet speed was good, around 20 Mb/s, but every day after 6:00 p.m., the speed dropped to 1–2 Mb/s. This was very frustrating, and sometimes web pages wouldn’t even load. In my opinion, this isn’t the fault of the eSIM provider, but rather “Türk Telekom.”
You must activate the eSIM before arriving in Turkey; otherwise, you won’t be able to do it. Turkey blocks eSIM activation. This applies to every carrier.”
“It worked for a short time and I downloaded about 3 MB of emails. Then I disabled data roaming and renabled it the next day when I didn't have wifi. I could not get it to work again - the phone kept prompting me to set a carrier name. There was no help on their website. I never got it to work so my money was wasted. They send me an email with a link to review the purchase but that did not work. They claim to refund non-function sims if you email them but I have emailed twice with no response. I think this company should not be trusted.”
“I previously left a negative review, but after trying this eSIM again for my trip to Turkey, I want to update my opinion.
The connection worked perfectly during the whole trip — stable, fast internet with no issues at all. The price was also very low compared to other providers, which was a nice surprise.
The only issue I had was that the QR code was not sent automatically to my email after purchase because I used the express checkout option without registration. The website chat didn’t work, and it was very difficult to even find their support email since the site doesn’t clearly show any contact information. However, after I contacted them by email, support quickly sent me the QR code and everything worked fine after that.
Overall, a much better experience this time. Good speeds, reliable service, and great pricing for Turkey.”
“This eSİM claims to roam with 2 Turkish networks, which was my reason to buy. This is not true. Like many other travel eSİMs, it connects to Avea/TT only. Turkcell, although mentioned as a roaming partner, does not connect, says "not allowed"
I contacted support, but they behave as if they do not understand. Final recommendation, after a couple of emails, was to just set the phone to automatic selection. Hey!”
“Hello, I purchased an unlimited data eSIM from esim.dog for my 5-day Umrah trip to Mecca, and it was a terrible experience from start to finish. Despite the signal being strong, the internet speed never exceeded 200kbps, making it impossible to browse.
I am aware that Saudi Arabia has certain internet restrictions, and I even used a paid VPN service to try and fix the issue. After switching between multiple countries on my VPN, I was barely able to use WhatsApp for texting. Web pages wouldn’t load even after refreshing 2-3 times, and images were non-existent. Without a VPN, I couldn't even access local Saudi flight or train booking sites. This was easily the worst eSIM service I have ever used. Think twice before buying.”
“Very good Experience”
“Seconding what another user wrote: speed is really slow, about 0.3 Mbps in UAE..”
“10GB for 7 day ESim. Seemed to work fine at first in Haifa area, albeit with signal strength coming and going. When I moved to Tel Aviv area, the ESim stopped connecting to the network entirely. Support (via e-mail) were unable to resolve the issue, so they offered to refund me but I have yet to receive it”
“Its not working and they are just reading my messages with no response? Is this a scam??????? Very frustrating”
“Good instructions and super easy setup - super cheap, thought in the beginning it was sketchy but it’s not.
Could install the card before traveling which meant it didn’t require network for setup in the target country.
Nice that the website shows the data usage.”
“Perfect”
“Their free plan of 500MB seems to be scam. Checked on my and my girlfriend account both not working after registration. Used our real e mails and never used this company before also will never use and recommend you same.”
“took 2 mins to activate but it said in the mail it'd take 30mins even up to 24 hrs, scared me a little”
“Bought an unlimited data plan for 30 days. It's not only the cheapest option, but works without throttling and any other limits set. Good choice for Azerbaijan.”
“Ik had 2 e-sim gekocht van 20 GB ieders. Die van mij werkte meteen perfect. Die van mijn vrouw niet. Na een korte mail wisseling een nieuwe e-sim gekregen. Deze werkte daarna perfect. Super service van LinkeSIM!
Bereik en snelheid was prima.
Volgende keer kijk ik weer bij deze provider.”
“After a satisfied test in 2024 with Yesim in Turkey, it was clear to me to go for an eSIM from Yesim also during my vacation in 2025.
Activation is super easy, it is even possible to buy it in advance and activate it at a later time (for example, when the vacation starts). Deferred activation. Very convenient.
I was curious about the connection speed in 2025 and was amazed at how fast the Internet was with Türk Telekom.
In 2025 the download speed was between 30 and 50 Mbps and the upload was super high above 90 Mbps.
The network was 4G/ LTE+ - since 5G is almost not yet built out in Turkey (only in and around Istanbul and certain soccer stadiums)
You get a Polish IP address with Yesim (Polish provider Plus) which gives the advantage of being able to access/view/use all apps and websites without problems (Geoblock/Countryblock)
Very satisfied with Yesim and will use this app again in the future.
Turkish Riviera - Antalya - Belek
15GB Option used.
Used: May/June 2025”
“At first i need to set up apn settings then after that i used it and excellent, no problem, fast 5G connection.”
“I used it in February this year in Dubai, and it worked well for me during my three‑day stay. While many claimed some providers didn’t work there, others insisted they did. Definitely will be using it again at the end of this year for work.”
“Very bad. Do not buy this esim for UAE! No internet most of time. One time I have connection - result of Speedtest is very bad - 0.3Mbps! See in attachment. Support did not retun money! They tried to debug the problem from tecnical side with my help for about 2 hours - with no result. Very bad experience.
I repeat - do no buy this esim for UAE and maybe for other countries.”
“I recently purchased this international eSIM for my trip to the UAE, and I am beyond impressed! The setup was quick and hassle-free
I was connected within minutes.
The 5G coverage was outstanding.
If you're traveling to the UAE and need fast, reliable, and affordable data, this eSIM is a perfect choice. Highly recommended!
10/10 - Will definitely use again!”
“تم خصم مبلغ الاشتراك ولم يتم ارسال ايميل بالاشتراك، وتواصلت مع خدمة العملاء وكانو يتاخرون في الرد ولا يقدمون المساعدة المطلوبة ويتم تكرار . طلب البيانات وفي النهاية قامو باغلاق طلب المساعدة بخجة اني تأخرت 15 دقيقة في الرد. كانت تجربة مخيبة للامال”
“The esim worked well for me in Qatar. I was connected to the internet from when the airplane landed at the airport.
They have the most affordable prices for all their tiers (1/3/5/10/15 GB) on esimdb.
The team is friendly and I recommend them.
You just have to scan the QR code before flying and don't forget to enable data roaming.”
“Find out the way very easy and simple Thank you very, very much for your service”
“The esims of me and my partner randomly stopped working on the second day of our vacation, their support was constantly asking me for various info, then they claims to fix the issue but for both of us nothing worked.”
“Thanks”
“I used Breeze and it was anything but. Missed several important emails in France and had to resort to my personal teathered Canadian internet for additional daily costs through phone provider. In UAE, this brutal eSim doesn't even work at all with no response after several hours from customer service. Extremely disatisfied. Thanks for nothing.”

Middle East Travel eSIM FAQ
Everything you need to know about using eSIMs in Middle East
How many travel eSIM brands (providers) are available for use in Middle East, and how many prepaid data plans are there?
There are roughly 190 travel eSIM providers and more than 6 800 prepaid data plans available for the Middle East, offering a wide range of options that make it easy for travelers to find an eSIM that meets their needs.
Are there any unlimited data eSIM plans available for Middle East?
Unlimited data eSIM plans are available for travelers heading to the Middle East through several providers. Roamify, abesteSIM, and Yesim all offer plans that advertise unlimited data, though each notes that speeds may be throttled during high‑traffic periods. These plans typically include 5 G connectivity, tethering is allowed, and the validity period ranges from 1 to 80 days depending on the provider. Pricing for the available unlimited options spans from as low as $5.00 to upwards of $223.21 USD. While these plans are marketed as unlimited, users should still monitor their expected data usage and choose a price point that best matches their anticipated online activity to avoid potential speed restrictions.
Can I get a travel eSIM with a phone number and SMS for Middle East?
Yes, there are travel eSIM plans for the Middle East that include a phone number and SMS capability. Providers such as JamboSim, ESIM.DOG, GlobaleSIM, Roamify, EtravelSIM, and Simbye offer plans that provide voice and SMS services. The phone numbers that come with these plans use foreign dialing codes—most commonly +1 (USA/Canada) or +33 (France)—so they are not local Middle East numbers. SMS can be sent and received on most of these plans, with some offering inbound‑only and others offering both inbound and outbound messaging.
Prices for these plans start around $11.99 for a 1 GB 7‑day package and can extend to 365 days for larger data bundles. Validity periods range from 7 days to 365 days. Travelers should confirm that the VoIP apps they rely on are accessible in the Middle East before purchasing, as some destinations may restrict certain services.
